Part One
After months of rough road Pengey finds himself happily reunited with Wendy, his adopted human mom. But the good time doesn’t last very long because he also finds himself in serious trouble with mother nature. The climate of New York is not something Pengey’s built for. Quite frankly the heat (while cold for humans) could kill him. Pengey looks awful and Wendy is in a panic trying to find anyone at 911 that knows anything about penguins. Luck is on Pengey’s side when Wendy finds a good doctor who knows about penguin health matters. It’s during his stay at the animal sanctuary that Pengey starts his new adventure, makes some new friends, and some adjustments for survival in the temperate climate.
Part Two
But Pengey is tested even more as he prepares for life with Wendy, and the traditions and laws of mankind. Each experience teaches the littlest penguin a little more about how to survive among humans in the very Big City of New York. Life for Pengey couldn’t be more fascinating, in his new and often confusing environment. Where can he go swimming and fishing? Where's the nearest Sushi Bar? Who are all those furry little animals that live in Central Park? Where can a penguin, buy a plaid tie and fedora? Can penguins ride on the subway? So much for Pengey to learn!
Part Three
You’ll stand right beside Pengey and wander along with him on a typical day with his new friends in Central Park. It’s a good thing that Pengey can speak Animal so well, because no one that lives in the park has ever met a penguin. You’ll also spend some days with Pengey as he tries to help Wendy, at the Television station where she works.
Being the curious and indomitable little spirit he is, Pengey soon finds himself embroiled in a brand new and very large adventure of, “Big City Proportions”. A terrible crime has been committed against the children who live at the Tattered Orphanage. A vile and villainous gang of thugs have stolen all their Christmas presents! The police have found no clues.
Pengey decides that he can find the culprits, bring them to justice, and return the gifts to the orphaned children. He knows he can’t do it alone. He gets together with his oldest friend, Lionel Macaw, and all his new animal friends from Central Park, and together, they set out to find the evildoers and bring them to justice. They must succeed no matter what the risk!
It’s in this last part of the three part story that Pengey takes us on a memorable journey where an unlikely character, twists of fate, and minor miracles help him solve the case, save the day, and preside over a Joyous Christmas for the children of the Tattered Orphanage.
